Description
Abstract Security, an early stage startup building a Security Data Analytics Platform is looking for a DevOps Engineer.
The ideal candidate will:
- have a few years of professional experience building and maintaining web applications
- thrives on solving odd-shaped technology problems
- loves automating deployments, monitoring, and resiliency
- wants to work in a high-paced startup environment
In this position you will be responsible for building and troubleshooting our SaaS and customer installed deployments. Candidates in California (San Luis Obispo and the Bay Area) and Pittsburgh are preferred. The position is open to other remote locations within the US for the ideal candidate.
From a technical skills perspective we are looking for:
- Experience designing, creating and maintaining production infrastructure in AWS or Azure using Terraform, CloudFormation, and/or Azure Resource Manager
- Experience creating HelmCharts and administering Kubernetes in AWS or Azure is ideal.
- Experience troubleshooting and maintaining Linux based applications.
- Experience creating monitoring with Prometheus and Grafana
- Experience automating workflows with GitHub CI/CD
- Python scripting
