Description
The Enterprise Applications Software Development Services team develops and supports several critical systems for the academic and business operations of the university. We are searching for a Senior Systems Software Engineer to design, develop, maintain, and support various web-based applications and the associated technologies that accompany them. We are looking for someone with in-depth knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, .Net, C#, PHP, SQL, and deploying applications in Windows, Unix, and AWS environments. Your core responsibilities will include: Design, develop, test, and maintain new and existing applications or systems Capture, document, and provide input on functional specifications and requirements Support user questions regarding applications and/or systems issues and availability Demonstrate product development changes for stakeholder acceptance and manage stakeholder expectations through mature change management practices Provide strategic leadership in areas of technical and creative development Participate in the mentoring and development of junior team members Participate in improvement initiatives regarding the audit, analysis, and documentation of existing or new products and procedures Other duties as assigned
