Description
Job Summary: Designs, develops, and maintains internal and external websites for Libsyn. Uses knowledge of common web development languages to build and expand site functionality. Creates and enhances the overall website appearance using graphic/multimedia design software and designs site navigation that is clear and easy to understand. Ensures sites remain scalable while complying with performance and security standards. Updates site content based on input from marketing and documents changes in source code. Duties/Responsibilities: ● Collaborating with management and departments to identify end-user needs ● Designing algorithms and flowcharts to create new programs and systems ● Develop separate elements of software that work well with the program as a whole ● Producing efficient and elegant code based on requirements ● Ensure continued functionality during testing, deployment and maintenance of software ● Troubleshooting, debugging, maintaining and improving existing software ● Developing technical documentation to guide future software maintenance and development Required Skills and Abilities: ● Excellent verbal and written communication skills. ● Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. ● Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. ● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. ● Ability to work on team and individual contributions simultaneously. ● Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. ● Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. ● Proficient with Google Office Suite or related software.
